My FPL 2024/25 journey diary (Game week 1)
Game week 1: 16th – 19th August
Here we go, the first selection of the season
Biggest omission for me is (15.0m) rated Erling Haaland. I hope this doesn’t come back to bite me in the bum in future weeks, but I needed a way to fit in other potentially high scorers.
Defensively I did so bad, with no clean sheets from any of my players. The midfield balanced out as Saka and Salah gave me good returns. Kai Havertz repaid my faith with a goal and an assist, but my other two strikers did let me down slightly, even though they had favourable fixtures.
Overall, an average 64 points in the first week has me sitting in top 4 for the first week
